Have you ever wanted to create compelling visual components for Dynamics 365? Have you ever wondered how Microsoft creates customised controls for Dynamics 365? Introducing PowerApps Component Framework (PCF). Let’s go through the process of building a re-usable PCF control together.
PowerApps Component Framework is the same framework which the Microsoft team uses to build custom controls for PowerApps and Dynamics 365. PCF is the foundation for the new Unified Interface of Dynamics 365. The session will cover the framework architecture, PowerApps Command Line Interface (CLI) and a live demo on creating a simple PCF control.
The session is more targeted at pro-developers. However functional consultants can also gain knowledge in what PCF offers and possibilities of extending Dynamics 365. I have also presented a shorter version of the same topic at Melbourne Dynamics 365 user group which was well received. I have also built a rich text controller using PCF which I have shared in GitHub (https://github.com/thanurabw/Evolved365RTFController).
