D365 Online has a limitation that requires all business logic to be executed through plugins and workflows within a 2-min time limit. Any processes taking longer than that to complete execution are cancelled with timeout errors.
Azure functions now supported in the form of Webhooks for D365 can help you work around this limit.
We will discuss how we can get access to the same execution context in Webhooks as we do in plugins registered locally.
